The core of the Keg Hounds keg tracking solution is two fold: cloud-based reporting software + flexible hardware integrations. Customers can use their existing barcodes and readers or choose to upgrade to Keg Hounds’ patent pending RFID tags and readers for easier inventory and more consistent tracking results (financing options available).

Keg Hounds was founded by beer guys, not tech guys, and the patent pending Keg Hounds RFID tag is proof. Other RFID companies use off the shelf tags that require welding to the top dome of the keg, but welded tags get knocked off quickly when kegs get stacked on top of each other and don’t work well when wet.
The Keg Hounds tag is affordable, easy to install, waterproof, and can be easily read from distances of 4 to 8 feet. It has been designed from the ground up specifically for keg tracking.
